Tripp was born from a short story I wrote a few years back, The story focuses of a lonely young boy who is keeper of a small lighthouse on a secluded Island.  He sleeps though the days and only wakes at night, keeping his sanity by playing meaningless games. He spends his time counting the cracks in the walls, swapping his combination of socks and shoes, and drawing the ships that pass by.
